I use voice-over-IP technology to provide instant notification of and prompt response times to my clients' calls. Calls to the office get forwarded to my mobile phone. Voice mail messages get delivered via email to my inbox. Let me exceed your expectations.

I provide a secure, Web-based collaboration tool for client access. We use this tool to share files with my clients, centralize communications, and track deadlines.

Technically Savvy

I love technology. From the RESTful Web to social networks to—gasp!—pointers, I get your technology and can help you plan and implement your intellectual property strategy. I relish helping developers copyright their code and protect their brands.

Flexible Billing

Most lawyers bill by the hour, but some clients prefer a flat rate. At the Staton Law Firm, I offer both solutions. If you need flexible billing, give me a call; I'm flexible. So flexible, in fact, that I accept PayPal as a form of payment.

At the Staton Law Firm, I believe in giving back. That's why I donate 5% of our gross revenues to charitable organizations such as the Lance Armstrong Foundation and The Nature Conservancy.

The Staton Law Firm is also a proud member of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce promotes the North Mecklenburg region through community outreach programs and enhancing business opportunities.

Environment

Law firms use reams and reams of paper and this firm is no exception. To lessen the impact on the environment, I use paper and stationery made from post-consumer waste.

I also scan all incoming mail and recycle any mail that doesn't need filing. I'll also email documents to my clients rather than mailing them if the client so desires.

My advanced communication systems reduce travel mileage and the associated carbon emissions.
